It’s been a long time coming, but finally 1982 Scenesetters is online. 1982 was a great year for scenesetters, lovely new furniture additions such as Sindy’s ‘Writing Bureau’, more outdoor accessories like the ever popular ‘Walk in the Park’, and of course it was the year of the horse with two new horses, a new gig and a fabulous horsebox. There were also two lovely international horse-related gift sets. With grateful thanks to Lone from Denmark for generously sharing her Mint in Box Pony Club Gift set, and to Donna from the USA for kindly sharing her Western Gift Set.
Elsewhere in the Museum we’ve added the the 1966 and 1969 ‘Horse’ grooming set including the hard to find curry comb which we are delighted to finally show courtesy of Scott. Scott also contributed his variation Mam’selle ‘All Aboard’ trousers which we knew about but didn’t have, a very cute Betsy variation “Party Time’ dress, and a beautiful, possible variation of the 1972 ‘Startime’ maxi-dress. We still have questions about this dress, and if you have any more information on it, we would love to hear from you.

Finally for this update, Anne contacted the Museum to confirm the bronze daisy sandals for 1971 ‘Queen of the Ball’ and after thinking about it we decided we ought to show those in detail. Then by coincidence Gill contacted us to tell us about her rose pink variation coat outfit. So, this entry has been substantially revised.
