Hello. I received my brunette Sindy doll shortly after her release, so mid-1960s. I would've been around 7 or so, I think when I got her. She was dressed in weekenders. I got the pink checked pyjamas (bloomer type pants and a top with a clip at the back). In 1974, we had a major flood, and I lost her clothes and accessories, but have had her all these years, still dressed in her pyjamas (Dad had made a timber bed for her). She went missing recently, when I had a cleaner helping me to clear out some stuff. I didn't realise how upset I'd be about losing her until she was gone. So good to see others love their Sindy doll as well. Thank you for your web site - it brings back some lovely memories of my childhood.
I love your site.
Thank you for this great site, I've quite enjoyed it. I have a 2 Gen Cindy, & have a question. Is it common for the face to fade? It's obvious her face is very pale compared to her peach tinted body.
Thank you for your time,
Thanks for keeping this site online. It is fun and helpful. I hope you are all well.
